- Stavros' Equipment Loan Program
Stavros in partnership with DME equipment maintains donated medical equipment, which is loaned free of charge for a predetermined time interval and free durable medical equipment. Stavros isn't responsible for following repairs and asks the equipment be returned in the exact same condition it was received.
We are not accepting any more gifts of crutches or walkers, as we have plenty of them in this instant. We do need additional manual wheelchairs and shower/bath chairs since these are popular products.
- Large Equipment items
Occasionally we hear about bigger items (such as ramps and stair-glides) that are no more needed. We can help ease the transport of such items to a customer needing free durable medical equipment, and we can also provide a receipt for tax purposes for the donor. Eliminating and re-installing these things usually incurs a fee (approximately $400 per item).
